On Building Theatre Audiences
Thoughts from TDF’s Executive Director
Late last month, I had the privilege of being the keynote speaker at the annual Leadership Luncheon for the League of Professional Theatre Women, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting visibility and increasing opportunities for women in the theatre.
When I spoke to the League, I addressed the question of how we can continue developing new audiences for the theatre. In the following video, I am happy to share my speech with you. I hope you will join me in continuing this important conversation. (All comments and questions may be sent to vbailey@tdf.org)

I agree with Tori’s message, technology has not replaced wonder, but it is where wonder and emotion resides for this generation.
Victoria, we are so proud to have had you as our guest speaker for this year’s Leadership Lunch. In fact, I think it was such a success and so thought provoking that it might be an idea to continue the dialogue and see if we can come up with steps towards building new audiences. Let me know if this might be of interest to you and we can begin planning it! Ludovica
This was a very informative sharing of ideas about the prospects of developing future audiences. Bravo, Veronica!
This has become a really important topic for this past decade.
